ONE Telecommunications and ALBtelecom have become One Albania. This merge is now official and marks the beginning of a journey that will position us as a leader in info-communication. This is an important step towards merging the two businesses into a single organization as part of the 4iG Group.

What does this mean for you?

Good news! Now our customers will benefit from the expanded 4G coverage and the optic fiber network with the widest reach in Albania. Very soon, ALBtelecom mobile customers will be transferred to the ONE 4G+ network, while we work to bring them all under one unified company.

Based on increased capacity, our combined products will continue to improve and provide a better experience for our customers. In the meantime, you can still access your account, manage plans and make bill payments, now issued by ONE Albania SHA.

Should ONE Telecommunications customers do anything?

ONE or ALBtelecom customers do not need to do anything. All customers will continue to use the same ALBtelecom and ONE Telecommunications networks, locations and services for the time being.

Why did ONE Telecommunications and ALBtelecom merged?

After the acquisition of two operators by the same investor, the Hungarian group 4iG, One Telecommunications and ALBtelecom come together to increase the range of services for subscribers. After the merger, the company will operate as a single operator, offering more choices in products and services.

What will happen to ONE and ALBtelecom brands?

From January 1st 2023, ALBtelecom and ONE Telecommunications will merge into a single company named ONE Albania SHA. All rights and obligations according to your subscription contract will be transferred unchanged to the new company ONE Albania, effective from the date mentioned above. This merger will have no impact on the services you have received, except to further consolidate and improve it. Both brands will continue to exist for a short period and will soon evolve into a new brand under the name ONE Albania.

Will my rate plan change?

No, there will be no change to your tariff plan.

What will happen to the ALBtelecom and ONE Telecommunications networks?

The ALBtelecom mobile network and One Telecommunications mobile are expected to merge within April 2023. The merger of the two networks will enable ALBtelecom subscribers to have the same experience as those of the ONE network, which means wider coverage, faster internet browsing speed, faster photo uploads and faster call placement times. Also, ONE subscribers will have a better internet browsing experience due to the wider use of optic fiber connection stations.

What will happen to the ALBtelecom and ONE Telecommunications stores?

While we work to bring a new experience, subscribers will be able to get all services in both ONE and ALBtelecom stores. Our in-store representatives can serve ONE and ALBtelecom customers in all current locations. You will be notified of any changes in location, in order to further improve the quality and transform the environment into a suitable and welcoming environment.

I am a customer of ALBtelecom, should I switch to One Telecommunications? Will my number change?

If you are an ALBtelecom customer, you do not need to switch your number to ONE Telecommunications or change your SIM card, your number will not change and will automatically switch to ONE.

Will I continue to have the same benefits from my provider?

The merger of the two companies will have no impact on the benefits of current ONE & ALBtelecom subscribers.

What will be the prefix of ALBtelecom customers?

ALBtelecom subscribers will have the same prefix they have now, (067) or (068/069) if they have ported the number to the ALBtelecom network. Subscribers will receive a second notification and further instructions regarding the expected merger of networks during the month of April 2023, but in any case the subscriber will not be obliged to change the number or prefix.
